The Post’s Objective
- To give children residing in the setting excellent physical, emotional, social, and academic care;
- To assist other staff members in the setting;
- To carry out the base room’s daily schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with other employees to run an activity program that is appropriate for the age range of the kids in your community;
- To maintain an accurate achievement file for parents/caregivers of your important children;
- Collaborate with parents or guardians of children with special needs to ensure complete integration in the environment;
- Encourage all employees to work as a cohesive team;
- Communicate with and assist parents, carers, and other relatives;
- To participate in activities that take place outside of regular business hours, such as training, staff meetings, and fundraising events;
- To be adaptable in the context of the working procedures. Be ready to assist when required, including performing specific household tasks in the setting, such as cleaning equipment or preparing snack meals;
- Accidents are entered into the accident book. Before the parent receives the report, make sure the manager has initialled it;
- Consider the setting as a “whole” where you can best use your assistance, and stay mindful of the children’s needs at all times;
- Make sure a known person picks up the child.
- To maintain the privacy of the information that is received;
- To advance your position on the team, particularly as a key worker
