Summary of Job
We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Pharmacy Assistant (Tier 2 Work Permit) to join our healthcare team. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting Pharmacists in dispensing medications, providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient running of pharmacy services. This is a great opportunity for someone with pharmacy technician experience or for someone who wants to learn and grow their abilities in a professional healthcare environment. This is a paid employment and is open to individuals with a Tier 2 work permit.
Duties
Help chemists prepare and dispense prescribed drugs accurately and effectively.
Assist in medicine delivery processes under supervision, in accordance with safety standards
Assist patients by providing information, medication guidance and supporting health promotion activities • Provide compassionate care to patients
Accurately maintain records of drug stock levels, expiry dates and inventory management
Make sure that the pharmacy environment complies with health and safety rules and that good standards of cleanliness and organisation are maintained
Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, filing and processing prescriptions as required
