Barista/Assistance Manager – UK Visa Sponsorship Available
Summary
Looking to join a vibrant team. We are looking a courteous and efficient Barista. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all consumers. This includes making and serving great drinks, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and complying with food safety. Experience is a plus but not a must, as training will be offered to assist you thrive in this dynamic role.
Duties
Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold drinks including coffee and tea and speciality drinks assuring consistency and quality.
Take orders, answer enquiries and deal with customers in a friendly way.
Operate coffee makers, grinders, blenders and other equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean work area and sanitise surfaces and utensils to comply with food safety regulations.
Use the till system to correctly process cash transactions and do basic maths calculations for change and sales records.
Ensure seamless operation during shifts by restocking supplies as needed.
Use your time well so you can serve customers quickly when you are busy, yet still give a great service.
Criteria
Previous barista experience preferable but not needed, enthusiasm to learn is vital.
Knowledge of food safety regulations to ensure cleanliness measures are maintained at all times.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with clients in a fast paced setting.
Basic food preparation skills to assist with little meal items as necessary.
Good time management abilities to be able to prioritise work at hectic hours.
Be able to do basic accurate maths around transactions and stock management.
The ideal candidate for this post should have a good attitude, be reliable and have a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
