Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Baker to join our team. You are a Baker and you will be making and baking a range of tasty baked products. Your skills in food preparation and culinary techniques would be a great asset to our bakery.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a range of baked items including bread, pastries, cakes and cookies
Follow directions and ensure that all ingredients are measured correctly
Operate and maintain the baking equipment including ovens, mixers and dough sheeters
Observe baking process to make sure items are done to perfection
Decorate and garnish baked products as required
Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
Work with other kitchen personnel to organise baking schedules and production needs
Help with inventory control and supply ordering as required
Skills:
Knowledge of restaurant or commercial kitchen operations
Knowledge of food preparation procedures including baking, cooking
Knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
Understanding of food production processes and quality control standards
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
Ability to accurately follow recipes and consistently produce high-quality baked goods
