In this capacity you will work with kinship carers, children and families to assist develop safe, stable and well-supported living arrangements. You will work with families throughout Children’s Services and associated agencies to provide them with the assistance and support they need. The successful candidate will be a professional who can gain trust, speak effectively in difficult situations and confidently manage a diversified caseload.

The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and motivated to providing high quality social work practice. Good judgement, decision-making and report writing skills are required. Must be able to meet deadlines and keep accurate records. Summary of the job

You will be responsible for analysing Regulation 24 arrangements to be presented to the Fostering Panel, and supporting and supervising linked persons foster carers. You will also be involved on a regular basis in undertaking initial viability and Special Guardianship evaluations for court in relation to children subject to legal proceedings.
