🔧 Duties
Dispense prescribed medications appropriately according to pharmacy rules and prescriptions
Support chemists in dispensing medications and consulting with patients when appropriate
Keep accurate records of drugs dispensed and update patient files.
Ensure proper storage, labelling and handling of pharmaceutical products
Answer questions and provide assistance on the use of medications to deliver great patient care
Monitor stock levels and place orders for replenishment to support inventory management
Follow all health and safety laws, including infection control procedures
Always maintain the confidentiality of patient information
💼 Work Experience
Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or comparable in a healthcare context preferred
Experience with pharmacy software systems and knowledge of medication administration protocols is an asset
Strong attention to detail and organising skills to reduce errors
Good communication skills for productive interaction with patients and health care providers
Dedication to continuing professional growth in pharmacy practice and patient care standards
