We are looking for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker to join our Children’s Complex Care Team. This is an excellent opportunity.

The post will look at different patterns of shift among a team of Clinical Support Workers and Registered Nurses. The position involves caring for very dependent children in their own homes.

The selected candidate will be kind, have good communication and interpersonal skills, patience, flexibility and reliability. Respect for client confidentiality is linked with the capacity to function as an integrated team member.

The post holder may from time to time also have the possibility to work in excess of the contracted hours.

Experience in a comparable job working within a community environment and with extremely dependent children would be desirable. Desirable but not essential, all necessary training will be given, SVQ in Health and Social Care (level 3).

The ability and willingness to travel around the service delivery region is important for this role.

The role requires the successful candidate to be on the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. For more information on this scheme please visit www.disclosurescotland.co.uk

The full time working week under Agenda for Change will reduce from 37 hours per week to 36 hours per week from 1/4/26. Part time hours will be pro rata reduced. Pay will not be affected by the change, because the hourly rate will be increased correspondingly.
