Summary
Solace Prime Care Ltd is looking for Compassionate and Dedicated Care Assistants (Drivers). In this work you will be providing vital support to people in their own homes to enable them to remain independent, safe and comfortable. You will make a critical contribution to improving the quality of life for those in your care, guaranteeing dignity, choice and respect at all times.
Functions
Travel to client homes and offer care as per the agreed care plans.
Help with tasks of daily living such as bathing, clothing, and meal preparation.
Support medicine administration as per training and business policy.
Provide company and emotional support; foster a pleasant supportive environment.
Keep accurate and current records of visits in our electronic care system and report any changes.
Support clients with transport and mobility issues e.g. driving to appointments or social events if required.
Offer additional help if necessary, such as end of life care, support for dementia or with complicated requirements.
Perform light housekeeping duties as needed to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Work well with clients, families and the entire care team to provide properly co-ordinated support.
Requirements
Full UK or foreign driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
Previous experience in home care or a care setting desirable but not needed – full training will be given.
Good written and spoken English (IELTS UKVI B1 or equivalent if applying from overseas).
Basic IT abilities to manage electronic care records.
Empathy, patience and a genuine desire to help people.
Available to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
Enhanced DBS check required, firm will assist.
