We are now hiring a competent, dedicated and experienced Head Chef to oversee our bustling kitchen. We are looking for Chefs with speciality in Indian, Pakistani, Thai or Sushi.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly driven chef who takes pride in delivering amazing food quality leading a successful kitchen team and upholding the highest culinary standards.
Visa sponsorship and cooperation opportunities will be considered for qualified individuals. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK or be eligible to be sponsored for a Skilled Worker visa.
Main Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the daily operations of the kitchen.
Prepare and cook authentic Indian, Pakistani, Thai or Sushi dishes to a consistently high standard.
Create and maintain menus, including seasonal specials.
Manage, train and inspire kitchen staff.
Comply with all food hygiene, health & safety and HACCP laws.
Monitor stock levels, place orders and cut down on food waste.
Maintain a clean, tidy and efficient kitchen environment.
Ensure consistency of meal quality, presentation & portion control.
Partner collaboratively with management to achieve corporate goals and create an exceptional customer experience.
Prerequisitions
Proven track record as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in Indian, Pakistani, Thai or Sushi cuisine.
Strong understanding of traditional cooking techniques and regional cuisines in your particular cuisine.
Good leadership and team management skills.
Able to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
Good knowledge of Food Safety, Hygiene and HACCP processes.
Well organised and excellent time management skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
What We Provide
Salary: £35,000-39,000 per annum – competitive.
