Careround24 is an expanding homecare company based in Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire, dedicated to providing excellent, person-centred care to our customers in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. We are seeking eager and reliable Home Carers to join our friendly and supportive staff.
What you will do:
Assisting with movement and transfer.
Preparing and serving meals; aiding with feeding.
Administer and give medication (with appropriate training & guidance).
Providing emotional support and friendship.
Assisting with modest housework such as tidying and laundry.
Accompanying clients to appointments or social functions.
Monitoring and recording any changes in the client’s health or well-being.
Personal care, such as aid with washing, dressing and toileting.
We work flexibly based on the needs of each individual client.
We are searching for:
Excellent communication and people abilities.
A real passion for caring for others and a desire to make a difference.
Patience, empathy and a courteous attitude to clients.
Dependability and good work ethic. Timeliness.
Can operate individually and in a team environment.
Due to the geographical distribution of our clients a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are desirable.
Previous experience in a care setting is advantageous but not always essential as full training will be provided.
