Community Support Worker
Location – Eastleigh
Salary: £26,490 plus £1,500 Eastleigh MRA per annum.
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is a must for this function

We are a registered charity that has been working for over 30 years to provide vulnerable individuals the tools and resources they need to live independent, secure and valued lives, working across Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex, Wiltshire, Somerset and the Isle of Wight to provide them with care, support and guidance. We also have a pool of sessional workers in-house that we call the ‘Premier Crew’.

This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same. One day you may be assisting someone to grow confidence through taking public transport, the next you could be supporting their favourite side at a football match, working together at a pub quiz or sharing a local poetry nite. You will assist others try new things, make friends, become independent and do the things they love most. You’ll offer safe, person-centred support that meets individual needs, always supporting dignity, respect and choice.
Some of the people we serve may also need personal care support, such as help with showering and toileting. Experience in this field is beneficial but not essential – if you have the proper attitude, compassion and a willingness to learn we will train and support you.
