Bluebird Care is the UK’s leading private care at home service. We are seeking motivated, reliable Care Assistants to join our expanding team to deliver a high quality and much needed service to vulnerable people across Lewisham & Southwark.
We recognise that work-life balance is important, hence we provide flexible working. Tell us what hours you can do and we will try our best to fit in. We provide full-time, part-time and guaranteed hour contracts with options for day shifts, evening and weekend work, night shifts and live-in care.
What You Will Do
Our Care Assistants go out into the community giving vital support with everyday activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication support and companionship. You will get full training, paid shadowing and continuing support to get the Care Certificate so that you feel secure and appreciated in your position.

Kind, reliable healthcare assistants who care about improving the quality of life for vulnerable persons and are entirely committed to providing high-quality care.
You will need to be resident in or within acceptable travelling distance to Lewisham & Southwark and have access to a car that you can use for work.
What Do We Have to Offer in Return?
£14.90 – £15.00 per hour (before probation)
£15.05 – £15.70 per hour post probation
Tax free mileage 35p per mile
Paid DBS, paid shadowing and £336 training and passing probation
4 weeks paid holiday each year plus 8 bank holidays

Important Information
Important: We do accept visa transfers but you must already be sponsored and living in our local area. You will also have to be a driver who has access to a car for professional purposes.
