Job Description
Restaurant Bartender – Certificate of Sponsorship Available
Summary of Position
Bartenders We are looking for a talented and eager Bartenders to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a love for mixology and a dedication to providing excellent customer service in a high-volume setting. This position demands the ability to work with multiple point of sale systems, manage your time effectively and provide outstanding service to our guests. Previous bar tending experience necessary. A certificate of sponsorship is available for this post if requested.
Responsibilities
Mix and serve drinks per conventional recipes or special requests.
Check age to comply with licensing laws and to protect the safety of our customers.
Keep the bar area clean and organised and ensure compliance with food safety and health requirements.
Deliver exemplary customer service by interacting with customers, taking orders and addressing questions or concerns.
Process transactions accurately through POS system including cash handling and cashiering duties.
Assist with stock management, keeping an eye on stock levels and ordering stock when necessary.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure rapid service especially during banquets and special functions during peak hours.
Maintain the highest standards of hospitality and make a welcoming environment for all guests.
Work History
Previous bartending experience required.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a high pressure environment.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with guests.
Basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
It is important to know about food safety standards and food handling rules in the food sector.
Experience with brewing or cocktail preparation techniques is a plus, but not required.
