We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Packhouse Engineer to join our team. This is an interesting opportunity for someone with strong engineering and maintenance experience that likes to work in a fast paced production setting.
As a Packhouse Engineer you will play a crucial role in the proper running, maintenance and ongoing improvement of packhouse machinery and equipment. You will assist in minimising downtime, assist production efficiency and work towards a safe and productive working environment.
The person will need to be able to work a Sunday-Thursday shift pattern.
Duties
β Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on packhouse equipment and systems
β Diagnose flaws and make repairs to mechanical and electrical equipment
β Respond immediately to problems to minimise production disruption
β Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements
β Assist in installation and start-up of new machinery
β Keep correct maintenance records and reports
β Make sure all work is performed to health and safety requirements
