1. Specialist Support Teacher

The situation:
The Specialist Support Teacher post offers a unique chance to advise and work collaboratively with SENDCos, Headteachers, setting managers, teachers, practitioners and external agencies/voluntary organisations, and parents
The post holder will provide strategic support and guidance in relation to setting up and addressing school SEND priorities and inclusive practices and advice on assessment and identification of special educational needs as part of the assess, plan, do review cycle to ensure positive short and longer term outcomes for pupils with SEND across the city
We are searching for a candidate with extensive knowledge of SEND in the foundation and primary key stages, and who is also willing to work in secondary maintained schools, academies or free schools and post-16 establishments, if appropriate
The role of Specialist Support Teacher may include partnership working with the SEN Team to provide educational advices (Appendix Bs) for the EHC needs assessment for children and young people from 0-25 not on roll in an educational setting
The post holder as a Specialist Support Teacher must be an accomplished, dynamic, motivated and appropriately qualified teacher with extensive experience of SEND. They need to be committed to developing and evolving their expertise in SEND including SEND Law, the SEND Code of practice, SEND Reforms and the EHCP process independently and update their knowledge on new strategies, approaches, resources and publications in order to implement and review effective practices

Liverpool City Council are looking for an experienced and motivated Green Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Greenspaces Team in the Neighbourhoods and Housing Directorate.
As a Green Infrastructure Project Manager you will work with colleagues throughout Liverpool City Council, and a wide range of external stakeholders to manage and deliver a diversified portfolio of projects around the city.
You will be the key point of contact for stakeholders, finding and creating possibilities within the Greenspaces service to improve Liverpool’s natural environment.
As Green Infrastructure Project Manager you will work with partners citywide to successfully deliver initiatives to improve the city’s parks and greenspaces.
As Green Infrastructure Project Manager you will need to collaborate with Parks and Greenspaces Officers and help ensure Liverpool’s greenspaces are effectively managed, accessible and satisfy the needs of local communities.
Whilst not essential, we would greatly welcome experience in delivering drainage or water management projects within natural or green settings.
The role will be Citywide and will involve working from a number of locations from one central base and will support agile working where practical.
“This is a hands-on role at the heart of our drive to bring empty homes and underused land back into use across Liverpool. You’ll handle your own challenging caseload as well as aiding a small team to target the right properties and generate results where it counts most.
You’ll lead complex cases and action to bring idle buildings back into use and enhance areas across the city – everything from early intervention to enforcement using data, intelligence and local knowledge.
We want someone who knows how to get things done
You will have sound experience of housing or enforcement, you will be confident in undertaking complex investigations and comfortable balancing your own casework with supervising and supporting others
You will need solid judgement, good communication skills and a practical, solutions centred approach

In your role as Environmental Engagement Officer, you will collaborate with local councillors, residents, companies and community organisations to offer educational programmes, provide support for new recycling and garbage collection services and promote responsible waste management practices.
As an Environmental Engagement Officer you will reply to customer enquiries and explain relevant regulations and conduct follow up visits to address issues.
You will also be involved in supporting community events, producing promotional material and giving informative talks to schools and local organisations.
To be successful in the role of Environmental Engagement Officer you need experience of working with the public, community engagement and project management, plus strong communication skills and a flexible approach.
