Responsibilities

Comply with health & safety requirements and standards of the hotel sector.
Foster a positive culture inside the organization, with a focus on teamwork, professionalism and guest happiness.

Create staff training programs to improve abilities in guest services and hospitality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

Pitlochry’s No.1 restaurant (TripAdvisor) and Scottish Curry Restaurant of the Year 2025 Cidsin Bistro & Gin Bar We are looking for an outstanding working Head Chef with a command of both traditional Indian curry and charcoal tandoor cookery. Full bundle up to £45k. UK-based individuals are able to be sponsored for a Skilled Worker visa.
This is a hands on role. You will be on the stove every shift, cooking and leading throughout both areas. This is not a managerial post – we need a chef who can still cook.
Pitlochry is a remote Perthshire tiny Highland town. This is a profession worth serious consideration if quality of life, creative freedom and full kitchen ownership is more prized than a city postcode. We want someone who wants to settle down, not someone who is just passing through.
Responsibilities
To cook and lead all aspects of the work including curry and charcoal tandoor to the highest standard on every shift.

Control food cost, GP margin, portion control and supplier procurement
Maintain full HACCP compliance and food hygiene standards
