Job Summary

Software Development

Develop and test .NET framework based software applications utilising coding standards and best practices.

Occasional support to legacy systems providing ongoing service while the team strangle-out legacy code replacing it with modern code.

Work with other developers and IT staff to guarantee the successful integration of applications and systems.

System Analysis and Design

Understand user requirements and business demands to build technical specifications for software solutions and design solutions to the same.

Assist to design scalable, dependable and maintainable systems that meet corporate objectives.

Quality Assurance

Work together with the QA team to develop test cases and perform rigorous testing of your work.

Help in identification and fixing of issue, guaranteeing high quality and dependable software before handing over to QA team.

Main Tasks of the Post

You will support the day to day running and continual improvement of the Trust’s cyber security competence.

Key aspects of accountability are:

  • Reviews security alerts, system data and technical information to discover, assess and escalate potential threats, vulnerabilities and control gaps.
  • Support investigation and coordination of cyber security incidents including containment, recovery, documentation and lessons learned.
  • Working with technical teams to enhance security on endpoints, servers, networks, cloud services and other infrastructure.
  • Supporting vulnerability management, security assessments, audit activity and evidence collecting to help achieve regulatory compliance such as NHS DSPT, CAF, Cyber Essentials and other security frameworks.
