We are looking for a proactive and dependable Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
Handle items efficiently including loading and unloading and moving stock inside warehouse utilising manual handling techniques or forklift when certified.
Use warehouse management tools to track inventory levels, update stock records and process shipments accurately.
Pick and pack orders with care to get the right things ready to go, in line with quality control standards.
Organise stock shelves and storage facilities systematically to maintain order and facilitate simple access and accurate inventory.
Assist in shipping and receiving by verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments.
Perform frequent stock counts, examine the quality of items and report any inconsistencies or damages immediately.
Experience in a warehouse environment with knowledge of materials handling, picking & packaging and stock control.
Ability to safely and efficiently conduct heavy lifting throughout the shift in accordance with health & safety norms.
Mechanical ability or general knowledge of warehousing equipment is a plus.
Detail-oriented with good organisational skills to maintain high quality standards and accurate records.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment.
