We are seeking a female worker to join our team in Whickham.
The role is to support 3 older ladies that have different requirements, each lady has their own unique personality and love meeting new people and have a fantastic sense of humour. Looking for someone effervescent & outgoing.
The ladies love to go out for a meal, to the theatre, play bingo, go to church and spend time with the family.
The shift are vary including sleepovers (£62.64 for sleepovers).

Responsibilities
Provide personal care and support to clients, including aid with daily living activities such as bathing, clothing and grooming.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being.
Help with mobility and transfers, this may include heavy lifting if required.
Administer medication and monitor clients for any change in health or conduct.
Keep track of client progress and report any problems to the necessary healthcare professionals.
Provide modest housekeeping activities to ensure a safe and clean atmosphere for clients as needed.
Involve clients in social activities that encourage interaction and mental stimulation.
Competencies
High demand: Proven experience in patient care or similar field.
Knowledge of home care practices and principles of senior care is helpful.
Knowledge of dementia care strategies and knowledge of hospice care procedures is an asset.
Ability to safely and successfully assist customers with heavy lifting.
Excellent people skills and a patient, compassionate attitude to dealing with clients.
Basic first aid knowledge preferred to keep clients safe in emergency situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with other professionals and maintain clear documentation.

Essential Skills and Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent recognised qualification).
English Language Skills:
Home Office Requirements: The candidate must meet the Home Office’s English language competence requirements for Skilled Worker visa applicants.
