Summary of the Job
We are searching for an experienced Azure.NET Developer / Azure Data Engineer to join our growing IT team.
This is a practical role involving .Net application development, Azure cloud integration and Data Engineering. The chosen candidate will work with cloud-native applications, REST APIs, serverless integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data solutions.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications in C#, .NET Core and ASP.NET Core Web API.
Build safe, scalable REST APIs and backend services.
Create serverless solutions with Azure Functions.
Build integrations using Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps and API Management.
Create and implement ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
Design data processing solutions utilising Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL.
Work with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL DB and ADLS Gen2.
Connect your applications and data across APIs, databases and cloud services.
Authentication and Security utilising Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identity, Key Vault, OAuth & JWT.
Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
Implement monitoring and logging by utilising Application Insights and Azure Monitor.
Participate in code reviews, technical design, testing and trouble handling.
Work closely with developers, architects, testers and business stakeholders in an Agile setting.
About Yourself
This post is well suited to someone with experience working across Azure application development and Data Engineering.
You should have experience building .NET APIs and cloud connections, and working with modern data pipelines, Databricks, Spark, SQL, and Azure data platforms.
You will need to have strong problem solving skills, good communication skills and the ability to operate effectively within an Agile development team.
