As a respected member of our pharmacy team, you will assist guarantee that our customers and patients receive the greatest service every time they visit our Pharmacy. Duties/Responsibilities
Typical duties/responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
Preparation of liquid, powder, tablet, ointment and other form of prescribed medicines according to prescriptions provided by medical doctors and other health experts.
Analysis of pharmaceuticals to assess purity, strength and identity.
Determine probable negative effects of a drug.
Determine adverse interactions with other pharmaceuticals.
Evaluate if therapies are suitable for persons with certain health conditions.
The Controlled pharmaceuticals Register must be kept in line with legislative requirements and all corporate processes for the handling of controlled pharmaceuticals inside the pharmacy must be followed (including patient returned CDs and out-of-date pharmacy stock of CDs).
Review NHS claims for dispensing or other services on a regular basis, record such reviews and take appropriate action where concerns are identified.
Consistently maintaining high standards and achieving all important targets.
Compliance with NHS, GPhC and other regulatory rules, procedures and standards to ensure safe operation and appearance.
Clinical screening of medications of Care Home Residents.
Checking prescriptions made up in Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) to ensure that all parameters are satisfied that all MAR charts and documentation provided are correct and safe to use.
Work with Care Home staff, prescribers, surgeries, nurses and hospital teams.
Residential and Nursing Homes Periodical medication audits.
Giving professional assistance to Care homes on how to meet legal obligations and CQC Standards.

Have a UK registration as Pharmacist.
Show a high level of professional experience and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals.

Have love to operate in a team-centred approach.
Strong understanding of Pharmacy operations and provisions of National and local services.
Be able to communicate well since you will be having face to face interactions to properly address the different needs of clients and patients in the Pharmacy.
Good knowledge of MS Office suit.
Have a good Knowledge of how a Pharmacy works inside the NHS remuneration system.
Ability and willingness to take control and lead the Pharmacy team to enhance current services and develop new and creative services.
The Experience You Need
The successful applicant will be someone with experience but we are also recruiting newly qualified Pharmacists.
Qualification and Registration Required
You will be a registered chemist in the UK with a valid registration number.
Compensation
£45,000 / gross per annum (Negotiable) for 45 hours each week.
