SYNOPSIS
We are currently looking for a bright and driven Software Programmer to join our team. Develop, code, test and manage software applications supporting business operations and improving user experience. You’ll use your talents and creativity to help us create leading edge solutions that will shape the future of our organization.
Responsibilities Include:
Work with software engineers and business analysts to gather project requirements and implement software solutions.
Develop software applications by writing efficient, clean code and following coding standards and best practice.
Correct errors by revising programs. Debug programs by testing and correcting errors.
Provide software updates, enhancements and recommendations throughout the life of the business solution.
Take part in code reviews and give input to ensure code quality and enhance team performance.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of software components.
Keep abreast with developing technology and market trends, offering ideas for continual development.
Technical specifications and troubleshooting manuals. Document software features.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Software Programmer or related function. Demonstrated experience in software development.
Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, Python or JavaScript.
Strong knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
Familiarity with database management and SQL.
Experience using version control systems (e.g. Git) to handle code changes in an effective way.
Strong problem solving abilities and analytical ability to troubleshoot and handle software related problems.
Ability to work independently and in a team context.
Excellent communications and people abilities.
Preferred Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar discipline (or comparable job experience).
Experience with web development frameworks such as React, Angular, [website].
Experience with building mobile apps for Android or iOS platforms.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure).
