Home Care Assistant – Sponsorship Available
Job Summary
We are looking for caring and committed Home Care Assistants to offer exceptional support to people in their own homes. The work involves aiding clients with everyday tasks, ensuring their comfort and safety and fostering independence. The successful candidate will have great communication skills, be reliable and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. This is a compensated position and you can work in a rewarding setting that helps those in need of care.
Obligations
Assisting clients with activities of daily living include bathing, dressing and grooming.
Helping with movement and transfers for safety and comfort.
Meal preparation and help with feeding as needed.
Administer medication according to care plans and instructions.
Companionship & Emotional Support for Clients.
Help with domestic chores such as light cleaning and washing.
Keeping up with the precise recording of care delivered in line with organisational policies.
Good communication with customers, their families and healthcare providers to facilitate smooth care provision.
Drive to clients’ homes in business vehicles as required.
Needed
Valid driving licence and safe driving to client sites.
Previous experience of working in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential, training will be offered.
Knowledge of care plans and capacity to accurately follow them.
Fluent in English (verbal and written) to facilitate efficient communication.
Basic IT abilities for maintaining records and documents.
Excellent communication abilities to create relationships with clients and team members.
Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in offering individualised care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons or evenings as needed.
The post is subject to an upgraded DBS check satisfactory, positive references and eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
Our induction programs include supportive and specialised training programs and ongoing education and development. There are also excellent prospects for progression with access to (NVQ/QCF) credentials.
The rate of pay varies according to the type of work you do, whether hired on a permanent, part time or casual basis, your level of experience and your qualifications.
You can work between 8 and 38 hours a week. That would rely on your flexibility and availability of shift.
Eligible applicant must have the right to work in the UK already. Please note visa sponsorship is only available for this post after 6 months of employment.
