The Function
Delivering high-quality ice products to clients throughout London and the Southeast, you will represent our company as an Icebox Delivery Driver.
No two days are the same in this physically demanding, fast-paced position. From independent cafés and bars to some of London’s most famous hotels, restaurants, and event locations, you will usually do 30 to 50 multi-drop deliveries every day.
After completing your training, you will also have the chance to help deliver and install our renowned custom ice sculptures at esteemed locations and events.
You’ll fit in well at Icebox if you enjoy driving, like working on your own, take pride in providing exceptional customer service, and don’t mind hard labour.
Important Duties
Make 30 to 50 multi-drop deliveries every day around the Southeast and London.
Provide high-quality ice products in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.
At every delivery, give outstanding customer service.
12 kg bags of ice and bigger ice products should be loaded, unloaded, and handled securely.
After training, help with the transport and installation of custom ice sculptures.
As you represent the Icebox brand, uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
What We’re Seeking

Crucial Conditions
Experience driving multi-drop deliveries for at least a year.
strong familiarity of the surrounding districts and the traffic system in London.
complete UK Category B driver’s license.
Three penalty points at most.
25 years of age or older (insurance need).
the ability to work in the United Kingdom.
English proficiency.
fit and at ease enough to lift and carry 12 kilogram bags of ice on a daily basis.
able to work weekends, early mornings, evenings, and at peak times of the year.
Hours of Work and Salary
Beginning Hourly Rates (one year of experience)
£14.00 per hour, Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Outside of regular business hours, Monday thru Friday: £15.40 per hour
Saturday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm: £15.40 per hour
Saturday after regular business hours: £17.71 per hour
Sunday 8:00 am till 4:00 pm: £16.10 per hour
Sunday after regular business hours: £18.48 per hour
Experienced drivers can start at higher hourly rates.
Operating Pattern
full-time, permanent PAYE work.
Depending on the season, four to six shifts per week.
8–12 hour shifts are typical.
40–50 hours a week in the slower months.
50–60 hours a week during the busiest time of year.
Depending on the season, working on the weekends is necessary.
Hours of Operation for Businesses
Monday thru Saturday: 7:00 am to 11:00 pm
Sunday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
