Live In Care Worker with Certificate of Sponsorship
This is a requirement of this care package, and because of the nature of this function, and the provision of intimate and personal care, female care workers are required. This condition is based on the protection of the client’s privacy, dignity and personal wellness and is intended to be applied only where the circumstances of the care package necessitate it.
A full UK driving licence is desired but not needed. Non-drivers will be considered if the person otherwise meets the particular care package standards.
We are seeking applicants who are already lawfully living in the UK and have proper permission to work, including:
Candidates already working in the UK on a sponsored basis including SOC 6135 Care Workers and Home Carers (where appropriate).
Candidates who are currently on a Graduate / Post-Study Work visa with appropriate remaining work entitlement.
Candidates with other legal UK immigration clearance which allows them to execute this role.
Eligible candidates already living and working in the UK may be able to sponsor, subject to the candidate and the company completing all the relevant Home Office requirements.
Candidates who wish to be sponsored under SOC 6135 in the future should be aware that under current Home Office rules, eligible workers switching from another immigration route must have been working legally for the sponsoring employer as a care worker or senior care worker for at least three months before a Certificate of Sponsorship can be assigned.
All applicants must be able to confirm their current eligibility to work in the UK.
Employment shall commence only after verification of right to work status.
Applicants should:
Experience of working in a care environment previously.
Be ready and able to do live in care
Get comfortable with personal care.
Right to work in the UK – Valid
Be able to generate proper right-to-work documentation.
Hold a current DBS or be prepared to do the requisite DBS check.
Show professionalism, reliability and great communication abilities.
Able to commit to the standards of live-in care.
You will be expected to undertake the necessary training and introduction.
Experience in dementia, Alzheimer’s, complex care, spinal injuries, neurological diseases or nurse-led care would be a bonus.
Successful candidates will undergo a complete induction and training program specific to the individual care package.
