Care Support Worker – UK Visa Sponsorship
The appropriate support may make someone’s day.
As a Care Support Worker you will be supporting persons with learning difficulties, autism and mental health problems in a residential setting. You will get to know the people you support, understand what is important to them and encourage them to live their lives with as much choice and independence as possible.
It’s practical labour but it’s about relationships as well. Sometimes you will be helping with a daily routine or personal care. At other times you’ll be encouraging someone to do something, or supporting an appointment, or simply being there when they need someone they can trust.
Duties You Will Perform
Assist individuals with their daily activities and personal care as required.
Promoting independence, self-esteem and involvement in the community.
Supporting activities, appointments and personal objectives.
Fostering good connections with the individuals you support.
Maintaining current records.
Working well with coworkers.
Assisting with dignity, respect, and according to individual needs and preferences.
You don’t require care experience beforehand.
