What You’ll Do
As a Care Assistant you will be:
Help people move from hospital to home
Support service users to be independent and confident
Providing care in line with individualised care plans
Assistance with:
Personal hygiene
Administration of medication
Vital signs monitoring
Support for exercise and rehabilitation
Housework
Liaise with health care professionals e.g. district nurses, pharmacies

Working Hours
7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. shifts
Full-time contracts (up to 40 hours each week)
Pay & Benefits
£13.00 – £15.00 per hour
Mileage paid at 35p per mile

Career progression (Level 2 & Level 3 Diplomas, specialist training)

Requirements
Full UK driving licence and use of your own car (essential)
Experience in domiciliary/home care is desirable (minimum 1 year) but not needed as complete in-person training will be given
Ability to read and follow care plans
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of service users
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to connect effectively with clients, families and health care professionals
