Position Summary:
TNA Bros Wholesale is looking for an experienced Butcher to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for processing and preparing meat products to customer specifications for takeout, restaurant and food service customers. Duties include delivering and maintaining high levels of food hygiene and customer service.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean, prepare and debone mutton carcasses according to company and client criteria.
Cut and portion chicken goods according to instructions.
Prepare and process red meat and poultry products for foodservice, take out and restaurant consumers.
All beef products must comply with quality, presentation and food safety standards.
Load, carry and deliver merchandise to customers utilising a corporate van.
Check delivery orders and guarantee that clients receive the right merchandise.
Build good customer relations and answer any questions about delivery.
All items must be handled, stored and transported in accordance with food hygiene rules.
Assist with stock management and quality checks as necessary.
Thoroughly clean work locations, tools, machinery and equipment at the end of each shift.
Follow all health and safety procedures in the workplace.
Requirements:
Experience working as a butcher, including deboning and meat preparation.
Skilled in preparation of mutton, beef, lamb, poultry and other meat products per exacting criteria.
Full driving licence (UK).
25 years of age or older (for insurance on company vehicles).
Good awareness of food hygiene and food safety standards.
Ability to work productively in a fast paced wholesale setting.
Great attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and service to customers skill.
Reliable, hard-working and able to work as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits:
