We are seeking a Fishmonger that has a Passion for seafood, RM12 postcode district
The role will involve working with customers using fishmonger skills such as cutting and preparing fish as customers require at our Fish counter supervised by our Head manager.
🔧 What you’ll do:
Keep a clean and safe environment. This means keep tools, equipment’s and work places clean and sanitised and signage up-to-date and clear.
Take the temperature of freezers, chillers and fridges on a regular basis and keep the fish prep facilities clean and organised for the best storage of delectable seafood.
The work involves standing for long durations and moving some hefty boxes time to time.
Your responsibilities will include many jobs in preparing our seafood for our clients, such as: descaling, gutting, filleting, trimming, packing or wrapping to our customers’ standard or bespoke requirements.
Fish variety on our fish and delicatessen counters ready for sale.
You must follow food hygiene and health requirements. Training (if necessary) will be provided
Daily checks on stock levels and freshness. Knowledge of stock levels.
Shift starts 4:30am
👀 What we’re looking for:
Minimum of 2 years verified experience as a fishmonger.
I am passionate about fish and seafood.
Must have the ability to operate well as part of a team.
Must have good time management abilities to deal with several assignments and operate at a quick pace in the work setting.
Must speak English.
Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to new skill set requirements.
