Description of Role
This is a part time on site post for an Assistant Retail Manager in our store in Tweed Coast NSW. The Assistant Retail Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business, assisting the store manager, providing exceptional customer service and establishing a friendly shopping environment. Other responsibilities include managing the sales floor, coaching and motivating the team, maintaining inventory levels and responding to client questions for customer satisfaction. The Assistant Retail Manager will contribute to attaining sales targets and increasing the entire consumer shopping experience.
Qualifications
We’re searching for someone active, hands-on, and passionate about food retail who thrives in a fast-paced workplace.
You’ll provide:
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a real desire to provide great customer experiences.
Natural leadership skills with experience in leading, coaching and building a team.
Proven sales mentality, confident in meeting and exceeding expectations.
Strong visual merchandising skills – producing lots of creative and economically strong product displays.
Good organisational and time management abilities, able to prioritise and perform several tasks successfully.
Experience in retail operations, stock control and inventory management.
Prior experience in retail or a similar industry (recommended).
Ability to work weekends and high trading periods as and when required.
