We are looking for a talented and experienced Cafe and Restaurant Manager to manage the day to day operation of our luxury facility. The ideal candidate will deliver an amazing service, maintain high standards of food safety and lead a motivated staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with a passion for culinary quality and team leadership to join a booming food service environment catering to our premium menus (artisan chocolate, specialised waffles, poached egg breakfasts, lunch sandwiches and salad bowls).
Duties
Operational Control: Oversee all functions of café or restaurant operations, such as staff scheduling, inventory control, and customer service.
Team Leadership: Oversee, inspire and motivate team members to produce great hospitality experiences.
Quality Assurance: Ensure quality standards are fulfilled in the preparation, cooking and presentation of raw food in both sweet and savoury sectors.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to food safety requirements and uphold stringent cleanliness standards throughout. (If you do not already have a food safety certificate, once employed, you will be given full support and assistance to help you get one).
Workflow Optimisation: Manage food production procedures such as kitchen organisation and workflow optimisation.
Menu Development: Collaborate with culinary staff to monitor and develop menus, including new recipes and seasonal ingredients.
Guest Relations: Respond to client questions, complaints and feedback in a professional manner to build great connections.
Staff Development: Develop training courses to enhance staff capabilities in service excellence and food safety measures.
