Overview of the Job
We are reopening our existing Hockley location as a brand-new Indian eatery. To oversee front of house operations and ensure that every customer has a wonderful experience, we need a restaurant manager. Working with the head chef and answering to the owner, you will be the company’s public face on a daily basis.
Concerning the Position
full-time, hands-on management position that oversees the team, the floor, and the stats. Weekend and evening availability is necessary.
What You Are Going to Do
Manage front-of-house operations, including customer experience, bookings, covers, and service standards.
Hire, develop, schedule, and oversee front-of-house employees.
Respond to consumer comments and grievances, promptly and effectively resolving problems.
Oversee till/POS administration, takings reconciliation, and daily cash-up.
Ensure that the premises licence is followed, including the appropriate serving of alcohol.
Uphold hygienic and health and safety regulations around the eatery.
Encourage local advertising and marketing to establish the new brand locally.
Own front-of-house cost control and budgeting, collaborating on P&L with the owner.
Maintain close communication with the head chef to ensure seamless serving.
