Prerequisites
Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Confident driver (our consumers reside in rural areas)
You must be a resident of the West Berkshire area or North Hampshire
6 months UK dom care experience needed
DBS update service
Ability to work in a team
A caring, empathetic mindset and a calm approach to care
Strong communication skills and the capacity to develop strong partnerships
Ability to follow care plans & place the customer’s needs first
EOL experience & Dementia care experience desirable
Flexibility and dedication to the job
Responsibilities
Your main duties as a Care Assistant will be:
Deliver exceptional care designed to meet each individual’s unique needs
Help with personal care (such bathing, clothing and grooming)
Meal preparation assistance, preparation and nutrition
Help with drugs, prescriptions and safe disposal
Do minor chores such as tidying, laundry and general cleaning
Be a reliable, kind, recognisable face to all the consumers you look after
