As a home care worker, you will assist community members in maintaining their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes by offering them both practical and emotional support.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities
Give personal care, such as clothing, grooming, bathing, using the restroom, and maintaining continence.
Assist clients with their mobility, handling, and safe equipment use.
Help administer medications and keep an eye on the welfare of service users
After completing the company’s extensive training, assist people with complex care needs.
Prepare meals and help with hydration and nutrition
Offer service users emotional support and company.
Keep thorough care records and appropriately report any issues.
Make sure service users are in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Collaborate closely with the larger care team, medical experts, and families.
Move between the residences of service users in the community in a secure manner
