Summary of Role

We are hiring a Business Development & Brand Manager to promote the growth and positioning of House of Chill as a premier lifestyle and dining brand.

This is more of a brand building, client building, collaborations and income generation position, rather than the day-to-day running of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business growth initiatives to increase revenue.
  • Develop and win new private catering, events and corporate clients;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
  • Create marketing strategies and partnerships that increase brand awareness
  • Develop and build the House of Chill social media and digital footprint
  • Source and establish partnerships with influencers, event organisers and corporate clients

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage warehouse associates to maintain efficient operations in shipping, receiving, inventory control and order processing.
  • Handle Ebay, Amazon Etsy inventory listing and marketing.
  • Optimise productivity and accuracy by managing warehouse workflows with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
  • Manage inbound and outgoing logistics with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Monitor stock levels, conduct frequent audits and liaise with suppliers and 3PL providers to ensure inventory levels are at optimal levels.
  • Lead process improvement projects to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Comply with health and safety laws, including the safe use of forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment.
  • Manage shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that shipments and deliveries are made on schedule and meet customer requirements.
  • Work with cross functional teams to support supply chain optimisation and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Keep meticulous records of warehouse operations, including a profit and loss breakdown of operating expenses.

The Position

This is a very hands on, creative and digital position.

You will be responsible for the development, management and execution of the restaurant’s daily marketing, content and digital presence.

You should be able to do the work yourself and get it done, rather than relying excessively on agencies, consultants or external vendors.

This is a role for someone who loves establishing brands through execution, menu creation, website development, social media, content creation and campaign launch whilst holding strong visual and commercial standards.

The role is heavily focused on in person content creation within the restaurant including photography, video and social content recorded during service, events and day to day operations. Please note this is not a fully remote position.

The employment can be flexibly organised between 2 and 5 days per week depending on the individual but a minimum of 3 in person working days per week is necessary.

Weekend and nighttime work will be required on an occasional basis dependent on business demands, launches and events.

We are happy to consider applicants with flexible or non-standard working requirements including parents working around school or nursery hours.

You have to be working and employed in the UK , but we can sponsor visa’s.
