We need a hands-on HR person to run the whole HR department. The Managing Director is in charge of this job on its own. You will be in charge of hiring, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, HR systems, IT user access, keeping records of health and safety, and running the office in general. This job is good for someone who is hands-on and likes to do different things.
Main duties
Handle the whole hiring process, including right to work checks, onboarding, and leaving.
Keep the integrity of employee records, employment contracts, and HRIS data.
Manage employee relations case work, performance reviews, and absences.
Handle payroll inputs, conduct payroll, do month-end reconciliations, and answer payroll questions. Oversee the administration of pensions and reports to HMRC. Help with year-end payroll audit requests and talk to the auditors.
Set up KPIs, appraisals, and learning and development plans.
Take care of visa sponsorship and help expats with paperwork.
Keep your own health and safety records and do basic H&S management.
Handle general business, like managing the office supplies, the lease, and the fleet.
Manage HR IT and systems: give HR systems and core IT accounts access, work with IT vendors, and help with basic MS Office and systems questions.
Make monthly HR reports for top management and HQ, and help with planning the annual budget and headcount.
Check and change the company’s rules and the employee handbook.

The HR Officer will help the HR Partner and managers provide a full range of HR administrative and operational services throughout the practice, making sure that employees get the help they need at every stage of their careers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
To give managers and staff a proactive and professional HR service in person, by email or other written communication, and over the phone, while also helping to keep HR systems or databases, policies, and procedures up to date.
Main tasks and duties
Filing, scanning, uploading important information, making sure that staff records are kept up to date, and cleaning up records on a regular basis in accordance with current GDPR standards
Answering emails and asking questions as needed while managing several mailboxes
Making legal contracts, changes to contracts, and letters
Doing audits and reports as needed by the business
Working with outside groups
Setting up orientation and making sure that all new employees fill out the necessary papers and give the right information to the right departments
Be in charge of the whole process of onboarding and offboarding.
Doing background checks before hiring and on a regular basis
Putting up ads and handling applicant correspondence, such as sending out interview invitations
Managing the entire process of hiring and firing new employees, making sure that the offer pack and supporting documentation are correct and sent out according to Practice Policy and Procedure
Make sure that records of mandatory and statutory training and appraisals are kept up to date and that reminders are delivered to the right personnel and line managers on time.
