Beaumont Home Care is different from other home care services.
The care team is the most important part of all we do. We work hard to help, empower, and grow our coworkers, and when we hire new people, we search for those that are kind, positive, and have something special to add to our Beaumont Home Care family.
What you will do
As a Beaumont Home Care Professional, you will be an important and trusted part of your clients’ lives by taking care of their physical and emotional needs. Your presence will bring comfort, dignity, and peace of mind, whether you’re cooking a healthy meal, helping with personal care, keeping someone company, or making sure they have a quiet, restful night. The main things you’ll have to do are:
Personal care—help our great clients get ready for their day ahead. This could mean helping someone get in and out of bed, wash up, shower or bathe, dress and, if necessary, go to the bathroom.
Giving out medicine
Running errands: Many of our clients need help going around, so you’ll help them with things like shopping and collecting up prescriptions.
Companionship means being there for someone, giving them comfort, telling them a joke or two, having fun, and making them laugh.
Light cleaning, such vacuuming, dusting, changing the sheets, and washing the dishes.
Cooking meals—everyone knows that nothing beats a home-cooked meal, and depending on the time of day, that may be breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
We give people the freedom to choose what’s best for them. We are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and we set up our shifts such that both our employees and our clients get the best care possible. Shifts are:
Late afternoon: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
