The Job

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our clinical team. The person who gets the job will work directly with our HCPC-registered Senior Physiotherapist to help provide high-quality physiotherapy treatments and rehabilitation programs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Under the instruction and supervision of the HCPC-registered Senior Physiotherapist, provide hands-on manual therapy and soft tissue mobilisation techniques.

Give shockwave therapy treatments as directed in each patient’s treatment plan.

Do manual lymphatic drainage massage on people who have lymphoedema or who have just had surgery.

Help and watch patients as they do their recommended rehabilitation exercises

Give them therapeutic stretching therapies to help them get better and move around.

Make sure that treatment areas are clean and safe by getting them ready and keeping clinical equipment in good shape.

Follow clinic rules and make sure to write out patient treatment records and progress reports correctly.

Talk to patients clearly about their treatment plans, progress, and aftercare recommendations.

Help the Senior Physiotherapist evaluate patients and come up with therapy recommendations.

Give Korean-speaking patients care that is sympathetic to their culture and talk to them in their own language.

As a Supply Chain Operative/HGV Driver, you will be in charge of keeping track of stock in the stores and safely transporting, distributing, and restocking NHS Laundry (Glan Clwyd Hospital) items like medical supplies (like needles, syringes, and containers from Denbigh Stores), pharmacy items, pathology items, blood and blood products, secure and non-secure stationery, and mail and records that are sent to hospitals, GP practices, pharmacies, opticians, and dental surgeries across NHS Wales.

You will need to cover several shift schedules depending on what the business needs:

From Monday to Friday, the hours are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

You will also have to provide relief for weekends and bank holidays.
