Principal responsibilities of the position

An important member of the senior technical services team who answers to the network manager.

In order to ensure that the service provided from inception to end of life complies with best practice technical, records, and cyber security standards, we will be providing specialised IT network engineering services to the TEWV NHS Foundation Trust in relation to its digital networks and communications infrastructure. We will also have strong contractual agreements in place to manage strong working relationships with third-party suppliers and partners.

The position falls under the Network’s on-call schedule.

Offer knowledgeable counsel and advice to stakeholders, network managers, and network engineers/specialists. Examine a variety of intricate wireless networking problems across a range of IT and technology topics. topics such as wireless infrastructure, firewalls, LAN/WAN connectivity, routing, switching, network resilience, and capacity planning. encompassing new network technologies and digital infrastructure plan.
