The primary goal of the position
To offer our clients superior personal care and support, Match Healthcare Ltd. is looking for a kind and committed Care Assistant Contractor. The job include helping clients with everyday tasks, making sure they are comfortable and healthy, and encouraging their independence while upholding their respect and dignity.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITY
- Help clients with grooming, clothing, bathing, and using the restroom, among other personal hygiene duties.
- Assist clients with mobility, which includes utilising mobility aids and assisting them in moving around securely.
- Help with feeding, meal preparation, and making sure dietary needs are satisfied.
- Offer clients social and emotional support by conversing with them and involving them in activities.
- Administer prescriptions in accordance with care plans and record them appropriately.
- Keep an eye on patients’ conditions and notify medical staff of any changes.
- Preserve a tidy and secure living space for customers.
- Adhere to care plans, company policies, and procedures.
FAVOURABLE QUALIFICATIONS
-NVQ Health & Social Care Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent).
-Previous care setting experience is desired.
-Awareness of care and protection laws.
ESSENTIALS
-The capacity to work a variety of hours, including weekends and evenings.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
-A patient and kind disposition.
-An enhanced DBS check is necessary.
-The ability to work in the UK is necessary, and sponsorship for a UK visa is an alternative.
