We are seeking a skilled individual with experience in retail trade, namely in convenience and home delivery services for groceries.
Gilmerton Grocers is a bustling convenience shop and mini-supermarket that serves the Gilmerton and surrounding community in-store and provides home delivery within a three-mile radius of the business due to its rapid growth.
We are seeking an experienced shift manager who will oversee the seamless operation of the shift, coordinate with team members in the store and warehouse, ensure that customers are served promptly, maintain a high standard and safe shopping environment, ensure that customers receive deliveries within an hour, ensure that delivery drivers are appropriately attired and hygienic when transporting food, train staff on how to handle late orders, and provide training on working under alcohol; licensing regulations and ensure that all team members are meeting welfare standards at work.
