This role is paid upgrades, this can be equivalent to an additional earning potential of up to £5,000 on top of the basic wage.
We are seeking for Residential Workers for children’s homes across County Durham covering:
Mainstream services
Short-break services
Long-break services
16–17 provision
Scheduled respite care services

What You Need
The profession can be tough and demands dedication and resolve although the personal rewards are huge.
We are searching for emotionally resilient, kid-centred people that have:
A-C GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent or higher qualification
Hold or be willing to complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
Experience of dealing with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to be a great role model to our children and young people
Flexibility at Work
Applicants must hold:
A current driving licence
Use of a car (disabled employees must have the use of a mobility support vehicle)
All applicants must be over 22 years old.
This position requires an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
