About this position
As a Care Assistant you will be helping people in their own home to help them preserve their independence, dignity and quality of life.
In this capacity you will:
Assistance with personal care and everyday activities.
Being a buddy and emotional support.
Meal prep and reminders for medication.
Keeping customers secure and comfortable in their own home.
Building meaningful relationships with those you serve.

Salary Scale
£13.70/hr – Weekday
Saturday and Sunday: £14.20 per hour
Bank Holidays £20.55/hr
Patterns of Work
We have flexible patterns such as:
Morning: 7:00 am – 2:00 pm
Evening: 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Flexible shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends) available
Waking or sleeping nite shifts offered (optional)

What we are looking for

You’ll need:
A compassionate and patient demeanour.
Good communication skills .
Ability to develop trusted relationships.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
To dwell in or close to Cheltenham.
Your legal right to work in the UK based on your particular circumstances and visa requirements (if relevant).
Availability for morning, evening, and/or weekend shifts.
Previous care experience would be an advantage but is not needed. Experience with a family member or loved one is also beneficial.
