Job duties:
Configure, test and maintain client network architecture including LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, VPNs
Deploy and support AWS infrastructures (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) with networking, access control and monitoring

Good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing & VPNs
Proficient in the administration of Linux and virtualisation platforms
A systematic approach to problem solving and good documented documentation
Experience: Demonstrated experience in maintaining enterprise networks or cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications: Degree in Computer Networking, Cyber Security or comparable field.

As our customer base continues to grow, we are expanding our technical staff and seeking a Network Support Engineer with strong expertise across both on-premises networking and AWS cloud settings.
The position:
You’ll be responsible for the stability, security and performance of the networks and cloud platforms our clients rely on. You will provision infrastructure, test infrastructure, proactively diagnose faults and rapidly restore service when incidents occur. You will work directly with project, engineering and client teams and take full ownership of your tickets from original report through to resolution.
Principal functions
Configure, test and maintain client network architecture including LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, VPNs
Deploy and support AWS infrastructures (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) with networking, access control and monitoring
Validate new services and configuration modifications prior to handover and ensure that technical documentation is valid.
Analyse packet traffic and utilise network diagnostic tools to troubleshoot connection, interface and service dependence issues.
Administer Linux servers and virtualised environments, e.g. VMware vSphere/vCenter
Perform access reviews and vulnerability assessments and apply remedies according to security best practice
