As a Senior Delivery Manager you will be immersed inside a Product Team in ETO and be accountable for driving successful, predictable delivery. You will enable timely flow of work and information, support release and risk management and proactively shape team competency and capacity to meet delivery outcomes.
You will work closely with the Product Manager to assist balance priorities, manage dependencies and create an environment in which teams can perform at their best. You will not have direct line management accountability, but your impact and leadership will be crucial to the success of the team and the wider organization.
Additional roles and accountability are:
Responsible for release planning and release management including ownership and administration of relevant controls, approvals and measures
Input into product budgets includes manpower, skills and third party expenditures for forecasting and cost tracking purposes.
Proactively managed and reported delivery of risks and cross-team dependencies
Enabling effective cooperation across product, technical and operational stakeholders
Supporting the formation and ongoing development of delivery teams, including encouraging experimentation and learning.
Be the senior point of contact for delivery issues in your area of responsibility
This post is hybrid and the successful candidate will be required to spend 40-60% of their working time face to face, collaborating at their designated location. In addition to our hybrid principles, we will consider other flexible working requests from day one of your employment, including other work arrangements when you require changes for a disability or long-term health condition.
About Me
You are a seasoned delivery professional who excels in a fast moving, complex setting and is comfortable influencing without formal authority.
This post is suitable for someone who can provide strong technical expertise and delivery management experience and translate between engineering detail and delivery outcomes.
Minimum requirements:
Experience working in agile delivery teams, Scrum and/or Kanban
Experience in leading or enabling software delivery teams
• Strong stakeholder and customer management skills
Practical knowledge of release management and risk management
Experience in working with cross functional, distributed teams including onshore and offshore collaboration
Strong communication and facilitation skills
