Our medical facility is seeking a committed, capable individual who is passionate about offering top-notch patient care. In addition to enjoying working in a dynamic environment, the chosen candidate will be in charge of a number of duties, such as getting patients ready for exams, taking vital signs, setting up equipment, and coordinating patient health with the rest of the healthcare team. Under the direction of the healthcare administrator, the healthcare assistant collaborates with other medical specialists to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and document data, including a patient’s blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and other vitals.
- As directed by the physician.
- Keeping an eye on medicine and IV infusions.
- Deliver papers and messages to the right staff people.
- Notify emergency medical personnel of any emergencies.
- Confirming patients’ insurance coverage.
- Arrange medical records and files for convenient access.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise working as a health care assistant or in a related position
- Excellent English communication abilities
- Capacity to create and carry out care plans
- Knowledge of the home care settings
- Fundamental IT abilities for reporting and documentation
- For some jobs, a valid driver’s license may be necessary.
