Overview of the Job
- We are looking for a female care assistant that resides in East Lothian or nearby. and must have the responsibilities of a driver.
- Help patients with personal care activities such as grooming, clothing, and bathing.
- Assist people in reaching their health objectives and adhering to their treatment plans.
- Keep track on and document patients’ health, informing the medical staff of any changes.
- To improve patients’ quality of life, offer them emotional support and company.
- To guarantee integrated care, communicate clearly with patients, families, and other medical specialists.
- As needed, take patients to social events or appointments.
- Ensure that patients receiving home care or in a care facility have a clean and secure environment.
Ability
- Strong knowledge of care plans and the capacity to carry them out successfully.
- It is beneficial to have prior experience providing home care or working in a care home setting.
- Outstanding written and spoken English communication abilities.
- IT proficiency for the upkeep of patient paperwork and records.
- When it comes to transporting patients, it is preferable to have a valid driver’s license.
- This position requires patience, empathy, and a sincere desire to assist others.
