The chance to make a difference
As a Banking graduate you will be working with our Coverage and Mergers & Acquisitions departments. Here you’ll find answers to our clients’ most strategic questions. You will be advising a wide range of corporate clients, providing holistic, structured solutions which assist our clients deliver on their objectives; whether that is through mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, structured solutions or risk management.
You’ll join one of our industry, product or regional groups after several weeks of intensive training and immediately begin working on live deals and business development projects. In small deal teams you will rapidly become an important part of a variety of tough assignments.

Who We Want to Be
You should have a degree or projected degree in any discipline and be driven and curious to be considered for this program.
You would ideally have an interest in business and finance, a solid work ethic and be ready to learn and expand your skill set, allowing you to deliver the best products to our client.
This position is FCA regulated.
Barclays will consider candidates who require visa sponsorship to work in the UK and will consider sponsoring successful candidates for a skilled worker visa where they match the Home Office’s eligibility criteria for a skilled worker visa. If you are successful in your application but not eligible to receive a skilled worker visa, and therefore we are unable to secure a skilled worker visa for you, you must have your own legal right to work in the UK on a full-time basis from either February OR July 2027 (which month will apply to you will be dependent on your chosen intake date) through to July 2029.

Job purpose
To assist with the day to day functions of the Investment Banking division. Gain exposure to a wide range of clients, transactions and expert areas.
Responsibilities
Live deal work, client pitches, advising the team on a wide range of corporate clients and providing holistic, structured solutions to execute on client objectives.
Working with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
Participation in training and development activities to strengthen skills and knowledge.
New product and service development and launch management for investment banking including opportunity identification and business case building.
Client relationship management and customer care support to clients and customers, with progressively less supervision, answering enquiries on products and services, processing of transactions.
Develop and implement financial models and methods that help decision making in investment banking. Understand how firms operate and learn from the pros in the business.
