Overview of the Job
To manage the operations of our restaurant and bar, we are looking for a motivated and skilled Food & Beverage Manager. The ideal applicant will be passionate about providing outstanding service and have a solid background in hospitality and culinary arts. Since you will be in charge of overseeing a diverse staff and making sure that our guests have the best possible dining experience, this position demands exceptional leadership abilities.
Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the food and beverage division while making sure that safety and health standards are followed.
- Oversee hiring, training, and performance reviews of employees to create a motivated team atmosphere.
- Work with the kitchen crew to create and execute menus that highlight current culinary trends and seasonal ingredients.
- Keep an eye on food preparation procedures to preserve presentation and quality requirements.
- Professionally respond to consumer questions and grievances, making sure that visitors are always satisfied.
- Sustain food, drink, and supply inventory levels while efficiently controlling expenses.
- Work together with marketing departments to advertise menu items and unique events.
- Make sure that bartending procedures adhere to industry safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- A track record of success in a managerial position in the food and beverage sector, ideally at a restaurant.
- Strong familiarity with food preparation and bartending techniques.
- Outstanding leadership abilities with the capacity to successfully lead and inspire a team.
- Outstanding organisational abilities and meticulousness in both kitchen operations and service delivery.
- A love of hospitality is necessary, while a culinary arts background is helpful but not necessary.
- The capacity to work a variety of hours, including weekends and evenings when necessary.
