As a Domiciliary Care Worker you will be supporting a wide range of clients including older folks, those living with Dementia, Physical Disabilities, Long Term Health Conditions and those who require assistance with daily life activities. No two days are the same and you will be able to make a real difference to the lives of the people you support.
We are open to applications from qualified candidates who have the right to work in the UK and eligible applicants who require Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
Main Responsibilities
Provide person centred care according to the particular needs, preferences and care plan of each client.
Assisting clients with their personal care needs include washing, bathing, clothing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers and promote independence when able.
Give or help give medication according to corporate standards, procedures and training.
Help with eating and drinking as needed and prepare food.
Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance wellbeing and prevent social isolation.
Help with modest housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry and keeping a safe and clean home.
Assist clients with shopping, appointments and community activities.
Report any change in physical or emotional welfare of customers.
Keep proper care records and documentation.
Adhere to all safety, health, infection control and corporate policies at all times.
Ability to work independently and manage your time well.
A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
A complete UK driving licence,
Access to a functioning vehicle, as travel between clients houses is essential over the working day.
The permission to work in the UK or eligibility to be sponsored for a Skilled Worker visa.
A willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
